I am the Knowledge Transfer Adviser for Lancashire and Cumbria.

The Knowledge Transfer Partnerships promote business led, open innovation by connecting companies with academic expertise to enable them to grow their business. I look after businesses supporting their projects with knowledge bases in many parts of the country. I also maintain relationships with a number of designated universities in relation to their participation in the programme.

I have a BSc and PhD in biochemistry and have spent most of my working life managing new product developments in biotechnology, in vitro diagnostics and instrumentation companies, including 11 years as a director of a public company.
