Space

Space is one of the fastest growing industries in the UK, with the ambition to capture 10% of the world market by 2030. Currently, the UK manufactures over 20% of the satellites in orbit and has established a path towards launching satellites from UK soil by 2021.

Innovate UK KTN has deep knowledge of the space industry, and has produced a new interactive UK Space Sector Landscape Map in collaboration with the UK Space Agency. Our team brings together a range of different stakeholders from industry, academia and government to enable consortia building and provide clear direction to people who want to innovate the space sector.

NEW | The ‘Meeting Net Zero with the Power of Place’ publication explores the opportunities for location intelligence in the fight against climate change, and showcases the vast potential of inclusive growth, collaboration, system thinking and cultural change in dealing with global challenges. Click here to explore the interactive report.

NEW | ‘Geo for Earth Podcast Series’ – An on the go way to explore the role that location intelligence plays in helping us understand our planet and tackle climate change. Listen now.
