Dr Lorelei Gherman

I am part of the Industrial Technologies & Manufacturing team, working as a Knowledge Transfer Manager for Advanced Manufacturing. I am the Project Manager for the Made Smarter Innovation Network, and I am also involved in Resource Efficiency for Materials and Manufacturing (REforMM) on the Resilient Supply Chains and World Class Production sprints.

My expertise is in advanced manufacturing engineering, with experience in precision, micro- and bioengineering. I am keen to support knowledge and technology transfer projects, bridging collaborations between academia and industry.

In previous roles, I have supported business and research development for low-carbon energy, sustainability and circular economy, where I worked with enterprises, manufacturing trading associations, chambers of commerce and local authorities.

I can provide support on advanced manufacturing and sustainable manufacturing opportunities within Innovate UK to enable innovation development.
