Nuclear
KTN supports activities across the nuclear landscape including existing generation, new build and decommissioning and waste management. There are also strong links with the fusion energy community.

The KTN Energy Team has helped to develop collaborations and deliver briefing and networking events for Innovate UK since funding became available for collaborative R&D competitions in 2012. More recently, the team has been providing briefing events for competitions for the BEIS Nuclear Innovation Programme (NIP). Several challenges have been delivered for the likes of Sellafield, EDF Energy, Jacobs and Nuvia through the KTN innovation exchange (KTN-iX).
KTN also co-chairs the Digital Special Interest Group (SIG) on behalf of the Nuclear Institute. This group was established in 2016 following two KTN workshops on the role of BIM in the nuclear sector.
