Innovate UK KTN to support FIS360 on the new Sellafield Game Changers programme
After a rigorous bidding process, FIS360 has been awarded a five-year contract to continue delivering the Sellafield Game Changers programme, in a major development for UK nuclear innovation.
The programme plays a key part in supporting the development of new technologies with the potential to deliver significant improvements in safety, efficiency, and sustainability at the site, and across the wider Nuclear Decommissioning Authority estate.
FIS360 has been involved in the Sellafield Game Changers programme since its inception, performing a strategic role in delivering some of its most effective projects. The next phase of delivery of Game Changers will continue with a focus on collaboration and identifying promising cross-sector solutions. It is in these areas that Innovate UK KTN will offer support, using its wide cross sector and network of expertise.
Frank Allison, CEO of FIS360 said: “We are delighted to have been awarded the contract to continue developing and delivering the Sellafield Game Changers programme. We look forward to continuing to work with Sellafield and our partners to drive forward innovation and deliver real value for the UK’s nuclear industry.”
