Follow Global Alliance on the latest Global Expert Mission in AI in Construction to Switzerland
From 26th June 2023, the Global Alliance team at Innovate UK KTN in partnership with Innovate UK, the UK Science and Innovation Network (UK SIN) and the Department for Business and Trade, travels to Switzerland to focus on potential markets for collaboration in AI in Construction.
Switzerland is a country known for its precision in engineering, micro and nanotechnology. The construction industry in Switzerland is now exploring ways to integrate AI technology in various aspects of the construction process, from design and planning to construction and maintenance. Given the urgency to deliver clean growth in the UK and Swiss construction industry, artificial intelligence can greatly improve efficiency and also reduce waste in the sector.
In this context, Innovate UK will deliver an in-person Global Expert Mission (GEM) in June 2023, where a group of UK experts will meet private and public sector organisations in Switzerland to better understand the innovation landscape and help benchmark against UK capability.
Innovation is the key to unlocking the potential of AI in construction and Switzerland is at the forefront of this revolution. I am excited to lead the UK delegation into Switzerland to accelerate the adoption of AI technologies in the construction industry through international collaboration and partnerships. Together we will learn from the best and bring back valuable insights to drive innovation and progress in the construction sector.
