Similar to Engineering Biology, Industrial Biotech impacts numerous sectors including Chemistry, Materials, Healthcare and AgriFood. It also has a significant role in the development of a Circular Economy by using waste as a feedstock for biobased products.

The team works closely with the Industrial Biotechnology Leadership Forum (IBLF), and have supported the development of the ‘National Industrial Biotechnology Strategy to 2030’ document.

Innovate UK Business Connect will share our deep knowledge of the industry, and support you develop new Industrial Biotechnology technologies, as well as replacing existing routes with biological ones.
