To meet the government’s zero carbon targets, the UK’s housing stock will need to go through a transformational change. Heating and cooling of buildings is responsible for a substantial amount of the UK’s carbon emissions. To eliminate this by 2050 we will need to deep retrofit an existing property every two seconds, starting last year! This raises the question; how are we going to realistically overcome these challenges and reach zero carbon targets – and what role will local authorities play?

Webinar recording is now available
