Will Dunn is a third-generation farmer and agricultural contractor from North Yorkshire.

When he began to work in the family contracting business full time, he noticed first-hand the struggles his dad had with invoicing and staff management. His dad would receive a dozen time sheets every fortnight, but they would often be difficult to read or inaccurate. It was time-consuming to chase up details, which led to invoicing delays.

Will set up Ag-drive to help solve this problem. The cloud-based app gives agricultural contractors and farmers a cost-effective and more efficient way to manage their business. It schedules jobs and sends invoices directly, as well as providing time sheets, field mapping and health and safety checks.

“Having improved invoicing efficiency and cash flow for our family contracting business, I noticed that there is a massive problem within the agricultural contracting industry. There are millions of pounds-worth of machinery sat in the yard, yet we’re all invoicing off ‘the back of a fag packet’. I’m determined to change an industry that desperately needs to go paperless,” Will says.
