Clean Growth Fund
Clean Growth Fund (CGF) is a £101m venture capital fund set up in 2020 to invest in and support UK-based early stage innovations that significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions or improve resource efficiency across: power, transport, industry, buildings, waste and water industries.
CGF looks for innovations that will abate significant amounts of CO2-eq per year, typically Seed to Series A stages. First round investments are usually in the region of £500k to £3m and CGF actively participates in follow-on rounds, so the overall investment in a company can be much higher.
CGF supports its portfolio companies with ongoing consultancy services via its sister-company, Carbon Limiting Technologies (CLT), the UK’s most established early stage incubator.
