How stylish and sustainable mobility aids are redefining the assisted living sector

Zeal Lifestyle is a startup focused on developing a new generation of desirable and sustainable mobility products. They want to disrupt the assistive product market by removing stigma – ultimately enhancing lifestyles through contemporary design, modern engineering and a personalised customer experience.

Their first product will be a sustainable and stylish 4-wheeled mobility aid that challenges the ‘tired branding’ of other products currently on the market.

Zeal believes that winning the Innovate UK Inclusive Innovation Award will allow them to continue the development of their first product and service, with a goal to commercialise the brand within the next 12 months. But, their journey of growth doesn’t end there.

“Our first product is a mobility aid, however, this is just the start! We want to tackle the whole market, from stairlifts to walking sticks. Zeal is looking to be the brand that provides for the whole assistive living sector,” says Joshua King, co-founder of Zeal.

They’re also building a community of users to unite like-minded people who look out for each other. For the team, Zeal is not just a brand – it is a community of individuals with a ‘zeal’ for life.
