The digital toolkit helping neurodiverse business owners access support
Accessing business support can be a major challenge for people with hidden disabilities. Without the funds for external help, many are left with “self-service” systems online that are poorly curated and fail to take into account disabilities like autism spectrum disorder (ASD), dyslexia or dyscalculia.
Flint Innovation is a consultancy business that adapts its services to meet the needs of people with hidden disabilities. Founder Liz Flint has a background in engineering and was inspired to start the business when she saw how often “brilliant minds” were made to fit a single mould.
The Innovate UK Inclusive Innovation award is enabling Flint Innovation to achieve its long-term vision to impact hundreds of thousands of neurodiverse business leaders and help them overcome the challenges that are holding their companies back.
“Over the last three years, we’ve adapted our services to meet the needs of people with hidden mental health disabilities. Now we’re ready to take the next step by digitising what we do one to one and harnessing the power of AI. We’re building an inclusive, curated digital toolkit that will take you straight to the tool or concept that will solve your problem, with the information presented in a range of formats to suit your needs,” Liz says.
