What does being an innovator mean to you?
Great ideas can come from anyone and everyone, and we know there is more to do to attract, engage and spotlight more diverse role models and to continue our outreach to support under-represented communities.
Hear from Innovate UK’s Young Innovators and Women in Innovation awardees to find out what they think about stereotypes in innovation and entrepreneurship.
The campaign
Innovate UK KTN’s #DebunkingStereotypes videos aim to showcase the diversity of innovators that have been operating in the UK in recent years with the help of Innovate UK.
We have created 6 videos to be released on Innovate UK KTN’s social media, in which previous Young Innovators and Women in Innovation award winners talk about their business and discuss how the word “innovator” applies to them. Click the individual pages below to find out more about our awardees and how they are redefining what it means to be an innovator – blurring the stereotype we have commonly associated with that word.
