The Alison Rose Review Progress Report 2023 highlights that “amid challenging economic headwinds, female entrepreneurs need redoubled support” going forward. It is essential for us to continue to offer our support and reaffirm the strength of our commitment to the country’s pioneering women innovators whose businesses are solving today’s environmental, societal, and economic challenges.
In 2022, we received a record number of applications and selected 50 remarkable applicants for our Women in Innovation Awards, each receiving a £50K cash injection and a bespoke package of business support, coaching, mentoring and training. These ambitious and pioneering winners, located in all nations and regions of the UK, are working on innovations across many different sectors.
