Rafique Swinscoe

As a Knowledge Transfer Manager within the Clean Energy and Built Environment team, I leverage my diverse academic background and professional experience to facilitate collaborative relationships between businesses to overcome challenges across a variety of industries.

I bring valuable insights from my previous experience in the water industry, where I developed a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the sector, specifically within capital delivery and infrastructure. This experience has equipped me with a unique perspective on the complexities of implementing new assets into old systems which lends itself well to the supporting challenges associated with the energy transition.

I am passionate about sustainability and innovation, which is reflected in my role as a delivery lead for Innovation Exchange (iX). In this capacity, I enable the exchange of cutting-edge ideas and technologies, connecting innovators with end users across a wide range of sectors.

My academic journey includes an MSc in Sustainable Engineering Management for International Development and a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science (Biomechanics and Technology). This multidisciplinary education enhances my ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, from technical experts to industry leaders, ensuring the successful implementation of innovative solutions.
