I’m the Knowledge Transfer Adviser (KTA) for the Midlands and Northwest Midlands working to help facilitate Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) projects. These Innovate UK funded projects promote sustained and mutually beneficial collaborations between academia and business.

I believe that straightforward communication, collaboration, cooperation, consensus and appreciation of interdependence is key to success while on the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) journey into commercially ready products.

My background is in Engineering Design, and I have considerable experience designing product (with an eye for appropriate aesthetics) and designing the manufacturing automation machinery required to produce it at volume.
