Neil Appleton

I am an experienced engineer specialising in structures and advanced materials.

I have worked in construction/infrastructure (design, manufacture and site) for much of my career and have pockets of experience in offshore engineering and the water industry. My role within Innovate UK KTN is around the drive to Net Zero construction and operation of our built assets, particularly through the materials used.

My experience includes: advanced materials, low-carbon materials, composites, offsite construction, asset life extension, low carbon concretes and novel reinforcement systems, water industry assets.
