Knowledge Transfer Adviser
I am one of the Knowledge Transfer Advisers covering East Anglia and Central London and I would love to help your organisation understand more about the support for Innovation, in particular Knowledge Transfer Partnerships.
The Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) support businesses to engage with expert academic teams on a project-based collaboration, delivering sustainable innovation with positive economic impact and additional societal or environmental benefits. I can help explore if KTP is right for your organisation, and also advise Knowledge Bases (mainly Universities) on how you can work with the scheme to increase the impact of your research. I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of businesses in my region and have links to many researchers, and other innovation organisations.
My first degree was in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. I then went on to work in a number of senior technical and commercial roles in multinationals and SMEs. My passion for innovation prompted me to do a MSc in Marketing and Strategy, focusing on New Product Development. I particularly love encouraging early career graduates/post graduates to achieve their goals.
