Emma Cooper

Knowledge Transfer Manager – Creative Industries

As Knowledge Transfer Manager for the Creative Industries, I have spent 20 years working with teams to make games and innovative interactive media. After being a co-owner of a work-for-hire games studio and then working in senior management teams for different types of agencies, I understand the pressures of creative business.

I also have good insight into the unique challenges facing creative business and am a passionate advocate for creativity and its impact. I work hard to connect and support others to develop innovation, find sustainability and deliver growth.

I am a member of the Advisory Committee for The Children’s Media Conference and a board member of The Space, a sector support organisation helping the cultural sector to make great art and reach new audiences using digital media, content and platforms.

Highlights of my varied career include producing snot filled carnival games for Dick and Dom, an immersive time travelling museum and a BAFTA winning game played here on Earth and on the International Space Station.
