Debbie Tully

As Knowledge Transfer Manager for Food, I work with the sector to identify priorities for a sustainable food system. I support UK food and drink companies of all sizes to find partners, innovate and access funding. Since joining in 2017, I have also worked on international projects to accelerate international collaborative research and development.

I am very interested in innovation around the circular economy, reduction in food waste and technologies for a net zero approach. For the past two years I have worked to develop the Wool Community of the Circular Economy Innovation Network .

Before joining Innovate UK Business Connect, I worked for three years with a food manufacturer in a commercial capacity, developing the company’s international and UK strategy. I also worked with leadership body Scotland Food and Drink as Commercial Director.
