Chris Hill

I am the Knowledge Transfer Manager for Innovation Adoption within the Net Zero team at Innovate UK Business Connect. I lead our Innovation Adoption and Diffusion programme where my role focuses on accelerating the adoption of new innovations, as well as the ‘diffusion’ of these innovations to drive positive impact across sectors and regions of the UK.

Before joining Innovate UK Business Connect, I was the sustainability lead at Ffilm Cymru Wales, where I was responsible for developing and implementing green initiatives across the screen industry in Wales. This included the management and evolution of the Green Cymru programme, which aimed to support screen sector professionals and companies to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050. The programme made available innovation funding to support early stage and scale-up opportunities towards the development of new products and services that would support the sector to be more sustainable.

Previously, I also worked as a socio-economic research consultant, managing multiple evaluation, research and consultation projects in various sectors. I specialised in evaluations of EU funded research, innovation, and technology programmes across Wales.
