Knowledge Transfer Manager - Open Innovation, Global Alliance Africa
Working as part of the Global Alliance Africa team, I have multiple innovation challenges underway in various stages of completion. These include several agrifoods and circular economy challenges within partner countries, upon which I work closely with my in-country colleagues.
My career to date has included a wide range of roles across marketing, sustainability and innovation. My marketing roles include Senior Brand Manager for Unilever and Global Brand Manager for William Grant & Sons, while my sustainability work includes oversight of green construction and sustainable energy projects internationally, as well as working on pollution reduction and the greening of local communities. I also have experience in innovation, including the development of new forms of urban mobility with Nissan and supporting UK beverages and European fintech startups.
I enjoy finding companies with problems they can’t solve within their usual supply chains and pairing them with innovators with promising solutions. I love supporting their successful collaboration towards scalable pilots. Having travelled to and/or worked in 70+ countries and being a science-fiction fan, I believe in taking a broad and creative approach to Open Innovation.
