SBRI: Develop innovative solutions for soil sampling
AFBI has SBRI Innovate UK funding available to work with innovative companies to develop solutions to improve soil sampling and monitoring.
Soil health underpins Northern Ireland’s drive for a productive and sustainable agri-food industry and there is a growing need for the agri-community (including Govt and research establishments) to obtain immediate results and recommendations from soil sampling.
AFBI has SBRI Innovate UK funding available to work with innovative companies to develop solutions to improve soil sampling and monitoring.
The Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) is a multi-disciplinary organisation in Northern Ireland with more than 650 staff involved in high technology research and development, diagnostic and analytical testing for the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs and other Government departments, public bodies and commercial companies. Its 3 main areas of work are:
- Natural and marine environment
- Animal, plant and human health and welfare
- Sustainable livestock production
