Vacancy: Executive Director – Programmes and Growth

We are recruiting an Executive Director to provide inspiring leadership and develop new income generating business partners for KTN.

Location: London/Edinburgh/Harwell with regular travel
Competitive Salary, plus bonus and benefits

The Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) has a track record of accelerating the growth of private businesses and the UK economy. Reporting to the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, you will play an important supporting role in the evolution of our organisation, contributing to corporate strategy development and delivery to grow our relevance and value to ensure that we become known as the world’s leading innovation network. You will be required to provide coherent, inspiring and developmental leadership to a distributed, high-calibre team who will be focused on leading major programmes across all sectors and geographies, whilst also have a strong focus on developing new income generating business partnerships which expand and maximise the company’s income sources.

You will have an entrepreneurial mindset, excellent negotiation and strategic management credentials and the energy and gravitas to engage relevant audiences at the highest levels. Well-connected and respected by a broad range of stakeholders across a range of industry sectors, you will have a personal track record of identifying and responding to opportunities to innovate in support of shared outcomes.

Regardless of background you will be an excellent Executive Team member, contributing to shared vision and organisational success and a dynamic divisional and matrix team leader and external ambassador who attracts and develops talented people who partner, consult and collaborate beyond sector and subject matter expertise to accelerate commercial growth.
