Up to €60K funding and coaching for companies to develop smart applications

FED4SAE is running an acceleration program for companies that are creating innovative digital products and services addressing new markets.

The new markets can be smart cities, smart agriculture, smart food, smart health and wellbeing, smart building, smart transport and others. The acceleration program will help companies develop their innovative solutions, and they will receive up to €60K funding and technical and business coaching.

FED4SAE is a three-year project that is part of the Smart-Anything-Everywhere Initiative. It works to accelerate the European Cyber-Physical System (CPS) and bring Embedded Systems solutions to market quicker. It will boost the digitization of European industry by strengthening companies’ competitiveness in the CPS market.

Who is FED4SAE looking for?

FED4SAE is looking for companies that are ready to:

  • Develop innovative smart solutions and take a leading position in their target markets.
  • Use the most advanced technologies and industrialized solutions to link the physical and the virtual worlds by combing hardware and software expertise.
  • Gain access to resources, competencies and save development time.
  • Enter into a unique European ecosystem gathering leading industrial companies, world class research organizations, innovation accelerator and private investors.

What does FED4SAE offer?

FED4SAE provides access to leading-edge industrial platforms. It also offers access to several advanced technologies and testbeds as well as support through expertise, know-how, coaching, design support and tech transfer from their partners.

Projects will receive business and innovation management support. Successful applicants will be linked to suppliers, well-connected business infrastructures and existing regional innovation hubs. This will facilitate the industrialization of the developed solution.

Successful applicants will also receive up to €60K of funding.

How to start developing your proposal?

The proposed solution should combine one of the FED4SAE industrial platforms with an advanced technology or testbed.

Successful companies can expect to work on their project between 9 and 18 months. The outcome should be a demonstrator prototype for software-intensive or system integration projects with high technology readiness level (TRL). The prototype may also be used as a first generation product.
