Posted on: 25/01/2019

KTN and the Transforming Construction Network Plus are running briefing events in Manchester and London around the forthcoming funding calls.

The Transforming Construction Network Plus is opening its first call for proposals for research that will help transform construction.  Two rounds of funding calls will be launched, to distribute £1m of funding. The first call launches on 1 February and KTN will run briefing events in London on 12 (webcast is available) and Manchester on 13 February.

The calls are aimed at UK-based academics and their collaborators from industry who are keen to undertake interdisciplinary projects and are interested in developing new collaborations around research that will transform construction.

The two workshops will allow delegates to hear more from the funders and understand more about the scope of the call, what research topics will be eligible and the assessment process.

Places are restricted at the workshops so please register your interest by 12pm Friday 1 February.
