Synthetic biology approaches to biomolecular design and engineering

Registration is now open for Synthetic Biology UK 2018, on 19-20 November in Bristol.

Synthetic Biology UK (SBUK) is known as THE place to go for a showcase of some of the very best of the UK and international synthetic biologists. This joint Biochemical Society and BrisSynBio scientific meeting prides itself on  bringing together all aspects of synthetic biology to foster a cohesive, vibrant and multidisciplinary community that is inclusive, open to innovation, collaboration and supportive of young talent.

The University of Bristol is hosting SBUK 2018, bringing a unique focus on synthetic biology approaches to biomolecular design and engineering.

In addition to an exciting scientific programme, particular attention will be devoted to oral and poster presentations from early career scientists, with dedicated sessions for networking, and a vibrant social programme.

Abstract submission and early bird registration rates close on 19 September.

A number of Biochemical Society student bursaries are available for undergraduate and postgraduate members.
