Surface Engineering Leadership Forum to host Surface Engineering and Advanced Coatings Summit at MTC on 21st January.

Surface Engineering Leadership Forum (SELF) is hosting the Surface Engineering and Advanced Coatings Summit at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) in Coventry on 21st January.

This one-day summit will allow delegates to share views, insights and experiences with the goal of progressing from an industry striving to be match-fit to being best-in-class to one excelling as world-class by 2025. The summit will try to determine how best to increase knowledge and skills development in order to implement this transformational change in industry.

The Surface Engineering Leadership Forum works to support UK Materials and Manufacturing industries on the transformation journey to become world-beating in the application of Industry 4.0 principles and tools. SELF has been set up by organisations involved in surface engineering, advanced coatings and materials finishing, to promote the use of these technologies in industry, and to interact with government on developments, funding and business support.
