Smarter Tomorrow event - limited number of free tickets available

We have a limited number of free tickets for Smarter Tomorrow, Liverpool, 23-24 October. Themes are smart cities, streets and travel.

Experts from KTN will be joining Innovate UK at Smarter Tomorrow in Liverpool on 23-24 October.  This is a must-attend showcase for towns and cities seeking the biggest benefits from good design and smart, connected technologies and we have a limited number of free tickets for those keen to attend.

 

Smarter Tomorrow 2019 is focused on climate change and how technologies and best practice around our future cities, streets and travel can help to combat issues faced by many UK towns and cities.

 

More than half of UK councils have now declared a climate emergency, with local government tasked with decarbonising transport, delivering cleaner air and energy, boosting active travel and improving public engagement.

 

Cities, travel and streets are key areas where emerging technologies are improving towns and cities for the benefit of all.  Delegates at Smarter Tomorrow will share best practice on achievable ways forward in key areas including:

  • Infrastructure optimisation and prioritisation
  • Decarbonising passenger and freight transport
  • Dynamic use of the kerbside, parking, streets and public space
  • New tools for integrating transport and urban planning
  • Mapping and wayfinding
  • Smarter travel choices
  • Improving public engagement and communication
