Rail Innovation Exhibition 2021 - call for exhibitors
KTN, Innovate UK, the Department for Transport and the Railway Industry Association will jointly host a virtual Rail Innovation Exhibition from 9-12 February. This is a call for exhibitors to express an interest in obtaining a virtual booth to showcase their products and services.
The event will be a showcase of the best in rail innovation brought to you by Innovate UK, the Department for Transport (DfT), KTN and the Railway Industry Association (RIA), in partnership with UKRRIN and Network Rail.
Attendees at the virtual event will be able to visit digital stalls, hear presentations ranging from customer experience and accessibility to sustainable stations and rolling stock and participate in conference themes. The event will highlight some of the winners of the DfT funded First of a Kind Rail Demonstration and Accelerating Innovation in Rail competitions and feature major announcements.
KTN will be facilitating the event using a single virtual platform which allows exhibitors to reach a UK-wide and global audience. If you would like to grab the attention of new sectors and audiences, this platform will allow you to showcase your capabilities and technologies in an interactive and engaging way.
This is an opportunity to promote rail innovation and projects to audiences including within government and the Department for Transport and to others within the rail industry including Network Rail, train operating companies and beyond. The exhibition will be widely promoted, making this a key chance to promote innovative products and services to a broad, engaged audience across transport.
The individual virtual exhibition areas offer companies a chance to upload their information to be shared, to host live video calls on the day with interested attendees, and to share details to arrange future calls following the close of the event. We will also be offering structured, scheduled exhibitor times for those companies who may not wish to staff their virtual stall for the entire event, giving attendees the option of pre-planning a discussion.
Each virtual exhibition package comes the following benefits:

- ‘Contact us’ button for delegates to direct message you
- The ability to access the information of delegates who visit your booth
- Up to six stand staff from your organisation on the platform
- Access to the 1:1 meeting booking system to arrange delegate to exhibitor meetings and exhibitor to exhibitor meetings
There will be a rolling assessment of exhibitor expressions of interest and the closing date for submitting your EOI form is 29 January.
