MedConNecT North event, 9 November

The third MedConNecT North event will take place in Newcastle upon Tyne on 9 November.

The event will showcase the support available to SMEs, NHS and academic staff to enable successful collaboration for medical technology research and development.

The day will provide excellent networking opportunities, connecting SMEs that design medical technologies with regional NHS representatives, to enable the development of these technologies through clinical research and evidence generation.

The agenda will cover the local, national and international offering, funding and case studies. Caroline Chibelushi, KTN’s Knowledge Transfer Manager for Artificial Intelligence, will be running a workshop around big data.

MedConNecT North is being run in collaboration with the North East and North Cumbria Academic Health Science Network, the Newcastle In Vitro Diagnostics Co-operative and the National Institute of Health Research Clinical Research Network.
