i3P seeking case studies of carbon reduction initiatives
i3P (the UK Infrastructure Industry Innovation Platform) would like to hear about your carbon reductions and help make them sector-wide best practice.
Significant challenges remain with implementing carbon reduction across a project life-cycle. To combat this, i3P (the Infrastructure and Industry Innovation Project) have set up a project to engage with the infrastructure industry to identify case studies that demonstrate pragmatic carbon management and reduction. The case studies will include:
- what carbon reduction opportunities and solutions look like, and their benefits
- how roles and responsibilities need to be defined at all levels
- how carbon reduction is integrated into project delivery
- how to overcome barriers
A simple survey has been set up to identify the case studies for this. Please use this survey to submit your projects for use as these case studies (open until 7th June).
The project is looking for programmes and projects of all sizes, across all project stages, so please circulate the link as widely as possible within your organisations and across your networks.
The results will be made available across the industry to inform understanding about real-world implementation and encourage greater low carbon design and construction.
