How to succeed at Innovate UK Grant-Winning in Health Technologies
University of Strathclyde to host Innovate UK grant advice session as part of the ‘Engage with Strathclyde’ week.
On Monday 29th April the University of Strathclyde will be hosting the ‘How to Succeed at Innovate UK Grant-Winning in Health Technologies‘ event at their Technology and Innovation Centre. This event forms part of ‘Engage with Strathclyde’¬†‚Äì the flagship programme of over 60 events taking place over the week commencing 29th April, which allows delegates to find out about the University‚Äôs research and how industry can collaborate with the University.
The event aims to introduce health technology companies, as well as medical and supply chain companies, to Innovate UK funding mechanisms and understand how to best go about securing this funding.
Innovate UK will cover their funding schemes, including the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund. Two speakers from industry in tandem with their Strathclyde academic collaborators will describe their experience of developing, obtaining funding for, and successfully executing Innovate UK health technology projects. The University of Strathclyde has plenty of experience of writing successful Innovate UK proposals – this is something which will be discussed at the event. There will be the opportunity for company attendees to meet, network and discuss next steps with the University’s health technology academic experts at an-end of seminar reception. There will also be a lunch provided during registration.
The event is aimed at health technology companies (both large and small) interested in developing innovative new technologies, products, processes or services. It is of particular relevance to company senior management, senior company scientists and Strathclyde health technology academics.
