Celebrating the innovation and creativity that will shape the future of food and drink

We are delighted to announce that KTN’s Professor Bryan Hanley will be one of the judges of the Food Matters Live Awards.

The Food Matters Live event, taking place on 21-23 November 2017 at London ExCeL, provides a unique cross-sector meeting place for the food and drink industry, retailers, foodservice providers, government and those working in nutrition.

For 2017 they have launched a set of new Awards in celebration of the inspiring innovation and creativity that is shaping the future of food and drink.

A diverse range of¬†industry professionals will be judging the Awards, including KTN’s Professor Bryan Hanley and representatives from Sainsbury’s, Marks & Spencer, Sodexo, Cotswold Fayre,¬†Kallo Foods and more.

Bryan will also be taking part in the Food Matters Live seminar on breakthrough technologies disrupting the food and drink industry, talking about “Jumping the S curve: examining innovation outside the food space.”

The ten awards categories have been selected to reflect the themes at the heart of Food Matters Live – from innovative product development, ground-breaking science and technology through to packaging design and marketing strategies:

  • Innovative ‚ÄòBetter for You‚Äô Product of the Year
  • Most Innovative Natural and Organic Product
  • Most Innovative Food to Go Product
  • Best Natural Ingredient for Health and Wellbeing
  • Best Functional Ingredient for Health & Wellbeing
  • Sustainability Initiative of the Year
  • Best Food and Drink Process or Technology
  • Most Innovative Packaging Design of the Year
  • Marketing Campaign of the Year
  • New Food and Drink Product of the Year

All entries must be completed and submitted online by Friday 15th September 2017. The winners will be revealed at Food Matters Live on 22nd November 2017.
