Affordable titanium for defence industry day, 15 November

An industry day is being held in Coventry on 15 November by the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory’s Affordable Titanium for Defence programme.

Prospective suppliers working in the processing and use of titanium, from raw materials through to the manufacture and integration of parts, are encouraged to attend the day to find out about the opportunities available through the Affordable Titanium for Defence (ATiTUDE) programme.

This highly collaborative programme has been designed to address MOD requirements for robust, lightweight materials that will reduce future platform ownership costs.

The day will brief the UK academic and industrial science and technology community on the ATiTUDE demonstrator, provide an opportunity for one-to-one discussions with Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) SMEs, allow delegates to network and explore potential collaborations and brief the audience on the R-Cloud Procurement process.
