10th Intelligent Imaging event, 29 April, London
Bringing imaging communities together to speed up business innovation development in the imaging technology sector in the UK – 29th April, London
The 10th Intelligent Imaging event will bring imaging end-user communities, imaging technology providers, novel imaging technology researchers, innovation funders and other relevant stakeholders together. Delegates will be encouraged to share their knowledge on market challenges, state-of-the-art commercial technologies, emerging imaging technology research and innovation funding opportunities. There will be the opportunity to stimulate new ideas, network and facilitate partnership and collaboration development and to promote and speed up business innovation development in the imaging technology sector in the UK.
At the event, speakers from industry and research communities will share their expert views in four key areas:
- Market challenges and opportunities
- State-of-the-art imaging technologies
- Emerging imaging technologies
- Relevant innovation funding in the UK
Imaging, as the most information-rich sensing technology, is one of the most important technologies widely utilised across human society and industries, from entertainment, healthcare, security and agriculture to transport, energy and space.
The UK has been one of the key innovators in imaging technology development and has played a key role in imaging technology innovations such as MRI, television, Industrial Process Tomography and more. UK researchers are still at the leading-edge of much imaging technology research. It also has many innovative imaging technology companies who are focusing on developing and commercialising some of the most exciting imaging innovations.
However, the large diversified applications of imaging technology also fragment the technology research and innovations in the markets, increasing the barriers for imaging technology research, innovation and commercialisation.
To help speed up the innovation and commercialisation of imaging technology, KTN has been organising one-day networking workshops – Intelligent Imaging – to provide a platform to bring relevant imaging communities together to network, sharing of knowledge and to collaborate. The next of these events will take place on 29th April, 9.30am-5pm at the Institute of Physics, 37 Caledonian Road, London N1 9BU.
General admission is £20 and there is the opportunity for paid for exhibition spaces for interested companies to showcase their imaging technologies/expertise and capabilities at the event.
