West Midlands-based Abbey Gregg secured the Young Innovators Award 2020/21 from Innovate UK and The Prince’s Trust at the very beginning of her innovation journey. 

On 9 March 2022, Sheilah Birgen, Kenya Country Lead for our Global Alliance Africa project, briefed Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, the President of Zimbabwe, on Innovate UK KTN’s work in Kenya and how we are supporting small business and local and regional innovation across a range of sectors to promote long-lasting strategic partnerships between Africa and the UK.

This event is an opportunity for applicants to ask the Innovate UK KTN team questions about the application process for this competition. The format will be a short, 15-minute, presentation on the key areas of the programme and the assessment process followed by a moderated opportunity to ask questions.

This briefing will cover a new grant funding competition from Innovate UK, and will be hosted online by Innovate UK KTN on behalf of Innovate UK.

Global Alliance Africa has extended the closing date for large Nigeria-based companies from the AgriFood sector wanting to find rapid innovative solutions to their industry challenges to apply for the innovative exchange programme. Applications will now close on 31st March 2022.
