Demonstrate Impact
GCRF Demonstrate Impact aims to support projects that address one of ten global societal challenges recognised in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the development of innovative processes, products and services.

The Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) is a £1.5 billion fund to support cutting-edge research which addresses the problems faced by developing countries. GCRF forms part of the UK’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) commitment.
The Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) will invest up to £9.3 million in demonstration-stage projects. The projects must have the potential to transform lives in developing countries, through market-creating innovation and should lead to the deployment of those innovations within developing countries.
KTN launched a series of competition briefing and information events in September 2019 for Round 1 of the funding and in March 2020 for Round 2 of the funding competition. There was a GCRF Demonstrate Impact Round 1 Cohort Webinar that took place for those who were awarded funding and to encourage a peer support network.
***The competition is now closed.***
