Overview

According to a recent government report robotics could enable £145 billion GVA uplift by 2035 if we fully support development and implementation, and this is your chance to steer how this can be achieved. Robotics can enable all sectors to overcome worker shortages, increase efficiency, safety and sustainability so we welcome input from construction, transport, energy, manufacturing, health and care, agriculture, hospitality, logistics, and space among others.

The Robotics Growth Partnership (RGP) is an independent expert committee appointed by the UK Government to provide advice and insights. This independent consultation draws upon the expertise of those in the wider ecosystem to review and feedback on the draft Smart Machines 2035 Strategy.

About the events

These events are your chance to provide feedback and additions to the document and the four goals forming the basis of a forthcoming 10-year Smart Machine strategy. Specifically, how to stimulate the supply and demand side ecosystems, create the underpinning skills and science required and establish an appropriate regulatory framework that addresses societal needs and trust for adoption. We’d like to hear your views on how best to achieve these and are there further goals that should also be considered by the new strategy?
