Overview
This pre-activity brought together the selected participants of the Lab and the wider community to discuss Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) needs and opportunities across Professional and Financial Services (PFS).
About the event
The session offered participants the opportunity to:
- Meet and build new collaborations with fellow selected lab participants and the wider community interested in the funding competition.
- Identify ESG needs and opportunities across the sector.
- Explore how those needs and opportunities can be unlocked through increasing data access
- Pitch their project idea and hear pitches from fellow selected lab participants.
Event Format
The event started with a short overview of the programme and competition objectives.
Participants were divided into smaller groups to identify ESG needs and opportunities across the sector and explore how enabling better data access can address those needs and opportunities. An online collaboration tool (Mural) was used to allow participants to share their thoughts and construct a shared vision. Some participants also gave short presentations about their current work.
