Do you want to take your immersive technology further this year? Interested in understanding how you can improve worker performance and increase your company’s efficiency? Are you investigating the feasibility of Immersive Technology, starting to test the technology or, developing and deploying XR?

Innovate UK KTN, Immerse UKMade Smarter Innovation Network has partnered with AREA, WMG and Proto to produce the Immersive Technology Conference – Understanding & Application in Industry.

Please join leading Immersive Tech providers and likeminded companies interested in understanding the benefits and challenges of deploying AR and VR technology on 6-7 December 2023.

The event will be hosted at Proto, Gateshead, North East England.

About the event

We’ll kick off by looking at some of the basics of Mixed Reality (XR); where it can be used in business, how it can improve business by saving money or increasing revenues and looking more closely at the different AR & VR technologies out there.

Workshop sessions over the 2 days will also allow participants to have the opportunity to discuss the benefits of XR and how to deploy and overcome the barriers to adoption.

An interactive format will allow you to engage with industry experts in the following areas:

  • How to start the AR conversation in your organisation (and effectively influence stakeholders and users of the technology to harness the best results)
  • Identifying requirements for Enterprise AR
  • Managing commonly encountered safety risks
  • The security risks associated with AR-enabling technologies
  • Managing change, stakeholders, and staff challenges when introducing AR
  • UX design and development for VR and AR apps

New to 2023

  • XR and Digital Twins – Explore the remarkable synergy between Augmented Reality (AR) and Digital Twins and discover how this powerful combination is revolutionizing many sectors.
  •  5G and XR – Learn about the lightning-fast speeds, ultra-low latency, and massive connectivity provided by 5G and AR and how to gain a competitive edge in the immersive tech revolution.
  •  Women in Engineering / Technology – Highlighting the incredible contributions of women in the field of engineering and technology, while addressing the challenges they face and the opportunities for growth and empowerment.

Along with keynote speakers from organisations who have implemented XR, interactive workshop sessions, networking, and demos, you can mix and mingle with like-minded colleagues, develop new connections, and get the low-down on what other organisations are doing in this exciting space.
