Immersive Tech Sector Industry Consultation Roundtable Feedback Events
Innovate UK is hosting six consultation and feedback events to join us for an exciting session where we will discuss the future of the immersive technology landscape in the UK over the next five years.
Overview
The roundtable events are designed to help industry inform Innovate UK and policymakers about the current activity and trends in immersive technology and help to identify specific challenges and opportunities. We want to explore the potential to support the growth of immersive technology products and services as well as adoption of advanced immersive tech into businesses.
About the events
Immersive technologies create an environment where a person can digitally interact with applications and experiences, bringing together sight, sound and touch in an augmented, or simulated environment. Immersive technology includes Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality and Extended Reality (XR) technologies and capabilities, haptics, sonics and advanced sensory interfaces, advanced visualisation, display technologies and spatial computing, and real-time and associated production technologies.

- Companies in all UK industry sectors looking to adopt Immersive tech as a tool to aid productivity for their business

We are expecting these events to be popular so be sure to register your interest early for the best chance of securing a place. Places will be confirmed from 5 February 2024 onwards.
We also invite you to complete our Immersive Technology Survey to tell us your experience of working with immersive technologies, the findings from the survey will be discussed in more detail at the consultation events.
