Overview

Quantum technologies represent a frontier of scientific and engineering innovation, with the promise to deliver profound changes across a spectrum of applications. Innovate UK’s mission for innovation to thrive in the UK relies on supporting UK businesses and identifying opportunities for global collaboration.

In February 2024, Innovate UK led a delegation of 8 experts for a week long Global Expert Mission (GEM) to discuss with key stakeholders how bilateral collaboration could be developed in quantum between the UK and Australia.

The mission scope covered: Quantum computing and use cases, quantum sensing and metrology, quantum communication, quantum-enhanced imaging, applications in key sectors, research and development ecosystem, education and workforce development and public outreach and D&I.

Along with the informative presentations covering the findings of the report, and how UK businesses can engage with Australia, our expert delegation will host a panel to discuss their key insights and collaboration opportunities. This free webinar is designed for a diverse range of participants ranging from quantum technology researchers and end users, policy makers and regulators.
