Solar
Innovate UK KTN supports the SuperSolar Network Plus with the Head of Infrastructure acting as Chair to the Network Industrial Advisory Group. Through this group, and programmes such as Energy Catalyst as described above, we are actively brokering B2B and B2A linkages.

In addition, Innovate UK KTN’s lead for Energy Systems was a contributing author to the 2019 UKERC Solar Commission report.
We sat on the steering group of The Solar Commission to deliver the report “A bright future: opportunities for UK innovation in solar energy” which was fed into government.
Innovate UK KTN also sits on the advisory board of The Centre for Photonics Expertise which covers much of solar energy research across the UK and aims to link businesses with photonics support.
