Fleet Bio Processing develops blood tests used for the diagnosis of diseases.
To create the tests, they use a host of antibodies. A key challenge for the Hampshire based company was to assess if the antibodies were working correctly.
As part of the Innovate UK Analysis for Innovators programme, they worked with the National Measurement Laboratories (NML) and the National Physical Laboratory (NPL). NML and NPL scientists explored ways to solve this problem.
Access to this new expertise means that an efficient way to predict the performance of the antibodies was found, solving a key production challenge for Fleet Bio Processing.
