Based in the East Midlands, I am a Knowledge Transfer Manager focussing on Medical Technologies.

I began my career in the NHS as a Medical Physicist before moving into Research Commercialisation. I raised over £1 million for a spin-out company in Orthopaedics and then joined the company as Operations Manager. Following this I spent 15 years in consultancy roles with a focus on Intellectual Property, Technical Research, Market Research, Tenders, Grants and Business Planning. I have significant experience of both UK and European grants having written, managed and delivered on nearly 200 grants and been a judge on several national programmes. Prior to joining Innovate UK Business Connect I was responsible for due diligence and equity investment for a UK research charity.
