CCAV - Advancing Safely to Full Vehicle Automation Competition
UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £1.5 million for up to three automated vehicle projects. This funding is from the Department for Transport (DfT) and the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV).
The event was a competition briefing for the £1.5m CCAV and DfT funded ‘Advancing safety to full vehicle automation’ competition and was aimed directly at the CAV community.

The competition allows companies operating in the CAV space to further advance their technologies as well as the safety assurance processes that are required to operate fully automated vehicles.
The competition is only open for a month so is targeted towards organisations with an existing project idea that is ready to launch quickly.
