Investment Criteria

CFT’s investment strategy is sector-agnostic within the DeepTech domain (excluding therapeutics), focusing on IP rich digital and physical sciences ventures with the potential for global impact. We typically invest with first-cheque at pre-seed with the option to follow on to Series A. Our portfolio includes semiconductors, AI, sustainable technologies, quantum, future of computing, and food security and more.

We invest in early-stage DeepTech ventures that have high growth potential and significant societal impact. Our current portfolio includes companies engaged in semiconductors, artificial intelligence, sustainable technologies, and other high-impact areas. We seek out innovators from diverse backgrounds, with 58% of our founders coming from traditionally underrepresented groups.

Value Add for Founders

CFT offers more than just capital. We provide extensive operational support, ensuring high engagement with our portfolio companies. Our dedicated Venture Operations team, led by COO, Xavier Parkhouse-Parker, assists in all aspects of company building, including commercial strategy, product development, financial modeling and team construction. We also connect founders with FTSE 100 companies and Global companies facilitating pilot projects, strategic partnerships, and commercialisation opportunities.
