Tara Padmore

As Project Coordinator, I support the coordination and implementation of the Global Alliance Africa project and Global Expert Missions.

I provide operational and project management support across the Global Alliance Africa project, including coordination, logistics and administrative support to the UK and Africa-based team.

My background lies in the international development sector, having worked in the public and private sectors and the United Nations system in developing contexts. My prior work focused on policy, particularly youth and gender policy, sustainable development for small island states, gender equality and women’s economic empowerment, and innovative financing.

I am passionate about creating positive impact and reduced inequities through innovative and agile solutions to common problems. I firmly believe that global solutions are needed for global problems, and innovation is a key tool in developing these.
