Ryan Jackson

I joined Innovate UK KTN as a Knowledge Transfer Manager for Online Safety Technology in August 2021. My role is to drive growth and innovation in the UK and international Safety Tech sector, by helping businesses and organisations access the right knowledge, collaborations, and investment to accelerate their innovative ideas into real-world solutions.

Prior to joining KTN, I worked for the Department for International Trade as a Trade and Investment Manager. This entailed supporting UK technology companies export to North America, Europe, China, Middle East and Asia Pacific, as well as attracting foreign direct investment into the UK.

I am the project manager to help establish and run the Safety Tech Innovation Network, an international network dedicated to the promotion, collaboration, and industrial application of online safety technology.

The goal of the Safety Tech Innovation Network is to support growth of the specialist safety tech community in the UK and worldwide, helping to realise the opportunities of the sector to drive UK prosperity, and to deliver a mature market of products and services that companies can use to protect their users and comply with regulation.
